The Council of the European Union published a revised version of the ePrivacy Regulation (EPR) which will be discussed at the September 19, 20 and 25th meetings of the Working Party for Telecommunications and Information Society.  The EPR is keeping on track to meet its deadline of May 2018.  As a regulation, it will be effective in all EU Member States upon finalization.  All providers of electronic communications services and any entity that processes electronic communications data will need to comply when interacting with individuals and entities in the EU.
